The National Paideia Center (www.paideia.org) serves as a source of information, inspiration, and training for those who are dedicated to transforming whole schools into activist learning communities based on the Paideia philosophy. The Paideia Center’s professional development offerings help educators cultivate active learning environments and teach students how to think. Participants learn how to use a blend of three different types of instruction to enhance the literacy, problem solving, and thinking skills of all students.
