Andrea DaSilva's Learning Story

My most effective teacher had to be my Freshman History teacher. His personality and understanding of the needs of his students made everyone in his classroom excited about learning. He would create interactive lessons that encompassed everything that we were currently learning. I remember we were learning about Greek mythology and he had us create plays or skits that would relate to the Greek Gods. He would give us homework packets for the week but he would make the packets fun. He would make a morning game out of the packets, with prizes for each right answer asked. Overall, he made learning fun. By making learning fun he made it effective and meaningful.
